Metrological
Weather sensors allow Command Centres to know the detailed weather conditions in different geographic areas before they deploy their resources. Some of these locations may be remote, so the interfacing, maintenance and reliability are important factors for sensor choice.
Integrated weather sensors provide for the measurement of air temperature, wind Speed, wind direction, humidity, barometric pressure, rain and visibility. These are low maintenance sensors, with no moving parts for reliability and use a TCP-IP interface to allow them to be easily connected into the Command and Control system. The wind speed sensors use ultrasonic technology to eliminate maintenance issues associated with bearing wear on normal anemometers.
Our Weather Station includes a high-tech, all-in-one sensor module with ultrasonic Wind Direction and Wind Speed measurement, a highly-accurate impact Rain Sensor, capacitive Relative Humidity, Temperature, Barometric Pressure and Visibility sensor. High accuracy and fine resolution make this system ideal for precision weather monitoring.
The weather station includes a processor for Internet-ready output as well as industrial automation interfaces including Modbus and TCP.
